On the Revs Digital Library, why are some of the words describing the image shown in red?

Answer

The words/terms that appear in red are a hyperlink that when clicked will lead you to other images that also have that term listed. These terms are part of our controlled vocabularies. For instance, Jacky Ickx’s name is commonly misspelled, so to prevent having several different spellings that appear in the Revs Digital Library, there is only one entry: “Ickx, Jacky.” Having a controlled vocabulary prevents duplication in search results and yields a better searching experience for users.
