How do I search the Revs Digital Library using the advanced search feature?

Answer

Advanced Search allows you to search for a specific word, term, or string, in one or more specific field(s), such as “Marque,” “Model,” “People,” etc.

Below the keyword search box in the upper right-hand corner, select the "Advanced Search" button. You will then be prompted to select which collection you want to search. (Please note that you will get different, more specific fields for each collection, so unless you are searching across all four collections, it is best to select one collection).

Then, select which field you would like to search and enter the word or term you are looking for. Please note the small "+ Add Row" button in the "Enter Search Term" section. By clicking this button, you can add multiple rows and conduct an advanced search on multiple fields. You can even specify the date if you would like. Once you are done entering your terms, hit "Search" and your advanced search results will display.
