Is my project considered commercial or non-commercial?

Answer

Revs offers different rates for image sales as well as research based on whether the project is commercial or non-commercial.

  • Commercial means: If you are buying images or research time for anything that is going to be published (i.e. a book, a movie, a website, an advertisement, etc.) we consider this to be a commercial project.

  • Non-commercial means: If you are buying images or research time for a personal project that is not going to be published (i.e. researching a family car, purchasing images to decorate your home, researching an admired driver, or doing a project for a car club, etc.) we consider this to be a non-commercial project.

For non-profits: Regardless of whether your project will be published or unpublished, we will offer you the non-commercial rate.
